ABOUT CDM FLOORING
West Coast Owned.
Built for Future Generations.
Built on Whakapapa. Driven by Purpose
CDM Flooring is proudly owned and operated by Poutini Ngāi Tahu Whānau. Corey grew up on the West Coast & his whanau history goes back to the 18th century when his ancestor Tūhuru, a chief of Ngāti Waewae and his people, established a new pā at Māwhera and settled here.
Built on strong family values and generations of connection to Te Tai Poutini, our business exists to deliver quality flooring solutions while creating opportunities for future generations.
Based in Westport and servicing the West Coast from Karamea to Haast, we work alongside homeowners, builders, businesses and commercial organisations to deliver flooring solutions that combine quality products, expert installation and reliable service.
Today, Corey leads installation and project delivery while Mel oversees client relationships and business operations. Together they have built one of the West Coast's trusted flooring companies, known for quality workmanship, honest advice and long-term relationships.

MEET COREY
More Than 20 Years of Flooring Experience.
Corey's flooring journey began at 18, labouring through his local rugby club in Napier.
What started as weekend work quickly became a career built on craftsmanship, curiosity and a genuine passion for quality flooring.
After completing his apprenticeship, Corey worked across New Zealand and Australia alongside some of the industry's most experienced flooring specialists, gaining hands-on experience in residential homes, commercial developments, and large-scale construction projects.
"Great flooring starts long before installation. Staying connected with our suppliers means we're always learning and bringing the very best products to every project."
